Notes and Opinions from one of Arizona's Most Trusted Loan Teams

In recent weeks, it would be impossible to ignore all the news media screaming about the death of the mortgage industry in America. But, don't give up on your dreams of home ownership just yet. If you have normal qualifications, you won't have any trouble finding a good home loan. There may be some restrictions if you have poor credit or an unusual situation, but don't give up. America has 10's of thousands of mortgage brokers, mortgage bankers, and commercial banks still making home loans every day. There are literally hundreds of different programs still available, and a good mortgage broker can help you find the one that is best for you.

If you are a first-time buyer, or don't currently own another home, there are a number of programs designed especially for you. These programs require little or no down payment and have liberal income requirements.

If you are buying or refinancing a manufactured home and land, those programs haven't changed a bit in nearly four years. Every program that was available last year is still available today. There is plenty of money around for you!

Rates remain low. There are plenty of homes to choose from. There is plenty of mortgage money available. This may be the best time in years to get into the home you have always wanted.
