Notes and Opinions from one of Arizona's Most Trusted Loan Teams

Ok, the news has you scared to death about the (ARM, Interest Only, Fill-in-the blank) mortgage you got a couple of years ago. There may be reasons to be concerned, but you may be just fine. The question is: Who do you ask to find out? If you really feel the loan was a good choice at the time you took it out, it should be OK to discuss it with the same company that provided the loan in the first place. HOWEVER, if you feel the loan wasn't a good choice, (maybe you didn't get all the relevant facts) why on Earth would you go back to the same company for advice now?

There are still a lot of mortgage companies out there and they provide hundreds of different products. The ones who provide lots of information without a lot of sales pressure are your best bet. Not to put too fine a point on it, this is something we can help with. We are one of Arizona's oldest mortgage brokers and we have survived 23 years because we really help people make good choices. This means more listening than talking and more educating than selling.

You can visit our "Mortgage Tuneup" page to see what features of your mortgage should be reviewed. Another page called "Refinance Truth" will provide the inside story about so-called "no cost" loans and why they are usually the worst thing you can do unless you have very specific needs.

Whether you get your information from us or someone else, it's important that the information is relevant to YOUR situation. That means it has to be accurate, timely, and up to date. You are smart enough to make a good decision for yourself and your family. All you need is the right information at the right time.
